Anita is Head of Decision Analytic Modeling within Health Economics at RTI Health Solutions. She develops mathematical models to assess the economic value of emerging pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. These models include cost-effectiveness, budget-impact, population, and other models that use mathematical methods including Markov and other stochastic models, infectious disease dynamic transmission models, patient-level simulations, regression, and linear and nonlinear programming. She has developed models and analyses in the areas of HIV, RSV, hepatitis C, influenza, cystic fibrosis, women's health, oncology, osteoporosis, chronic pain, age-related macular degeneration, mental health, epilepsy, bone healing, and hospital-acquired infection. She has presented workshops and short courses on decision-analytic modeling techniques in a variety of venues, and her research has been presented at professional conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
